Senior QA Engineer – Risk Analytics

About the role

EY is seeking a Senior QA Engineer to join its Risk Analytics team. You will focus on ensuring data quality and functional correctness across ETL pipelines, databases, and reporting solutions, supporting the firm’s commitment to delivering reliable insights for clients.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute test cases for ETL processes, data validation, migration, and report verification.
• Perform source‑to‑target validation, data reconciliation, and end‑to‑end data flow testing.
• Write complex SQL queries to validate data, troubleshoot issues, and support analysis.
• Collaborate with business analysts to interpret requirements, mapping documents, and transformation logic.
• Maintain test documentation in JIRA/Octane and track defects throughout the lifecycle.
• Contribute to test automation efforts using tools such as Selenium, Playwright, or Python scripts.
• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies and provide timely feedback to development teams.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of hands‑on experience in ETL testing and functional testing.
• Strong SQL proficiency with the ability to craft complex queries.
• Experience working in an Agile environment.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• Prior exposure to Banking or Financial Services is a plus.
