Senior QA Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior QA Engineer to lead both manual and automated testing efforts for our software products. The role involves driving quality initiatives across the development lifecycle and collaborating closely with cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute manual test cases for functional, regression, integration, and system testing.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python, PyTest, and Selenium.
• Perform API testing with Postman and validate backend data using complex SQL queries.
• Identify, report, and track defects using JIRA.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders during sprint planning, requirement analysis, test planning, and release coordination.
• Improve automation coverage, monitor execution, and troubleshoot issues.

Required profile

• 7–8 years of experience in manual and automation testing.
• Strong expertise in Python, Selenium, and PyTest.
• Experience with REST API testing and SQL database validation.
• Hands‑on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• Exposure to AI testing frameworks is a plus.
