Senior Purchase Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Purchase Manager to join our team in Maharashtra. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing procurement processes, particularly in the context of EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) projects. This role is critical in ensuring that all purchasing activities align with project timelines and budgetary constraints.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement purchasing strategies that align with project goals and objectives.
• Manage supplier relationships to ensure quality, cost‑effectiveness, and timely delivery of materials and services.
• Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and specifications.
• Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their capabilities.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure favorable terms.
• Monitor and analyze purchasing trends and supplier performance to identify areas for improvement.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures in all purchasing activities.
