Facade AutoCAD Designer

About the role

The Facade AutoCAD professional will create, update, and manage detailed façade drawings and construction documentation. Working on‑site in Thane, the role collaborates closely with architects, engineers, and site teams to ensure accurate implementation of façade solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain façade layouts, sections, and detail drawings using AutoCAD, aligned with project specifications.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and vendors to ensure drawings meet structural, safety, and quality standards.
• Interpret architectural and construction drawings, optimise space utilisation for façade systems, and support timely revisions.

Required profile

• Ability to work with and interpret architectural and construction drawings.
• Strong drawing skills and experience in space planning for façade layouts and building elevations.
• Effective communication for coordination with multidisciplinary teams.
• Diploma or degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or related field; prior façade or building envelope experience preferred.
• Attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines, and willingness to collaborate in a fast‑paced on‑site environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and related design software.
• Knowledge of façade materials such as glass, ACP, and structural glazing systems.
• Understanding of building codes, safety standards, and basic structural principles relevant to façade design.
