Senior Product Owner – Privileged Access Management

About the role

Bitwarden is building an India Engineering Center of Excellence and needs a Senior Product Owner to lead the delivery of its Privileged Access Management (PAM) solution. You will own the product backlog and drive day‑to‑day execution across credential vaulting, just‑in‑time access, session brokering, policy enforcement and audit reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Define, refine and prioritize user stories, acceptance criteria and technical tasks for the PAM backlog.
• Drive sprint planning, backlog grooming and ensure stories capture privileged‑session behaviors, approval chains and integration edge cases.
• Act as the primary liaison for engineering, clarifying requirements for JIT access, credential leasing, session recording and policy enforcement.
• Partner with Product Management to translate PAM strategy into epics, milestones and sprint‑ready work.
• Track dependencies across admin console, vault, approval interfaces and integration APIs, maintaining alignment across teams.
• Communicate delivery timelines, surface risks early and keep stakeholders informed of changes.
• Incorporate customer feedback, support escalations and compliance requirements into story prioritization.

Required profile

• Strong product‑delivery discipline with experience managing complex backlogs.
• Working knowledge of Privileged Access Management, Identity and Access Management and least‑privilege principles.
• Ability to collaborate with engineering, design, security, compliance and enterprise customers.
