Senior Process Associate – Procure to Pay (PTP)

About the role

Invesco is seeking a Senior Process Associate for its Procure‑to‑Pay (PTP) Global Business Services team. The role focuses on customer service and payments within accounts payable, handling vendor and internal queries and ensuring timely invoice and payment processing.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to vendor and internal inquiries via ServiceNow tickets, email or workflow tools, meeting defined SLAs.
• Prepare and execute payment runs (wires, ACH, EFT, checks) and monitor payment status, resolving failures or rejections.
• Maintain vendor records, set up new vendors and update existing information.
• Support month‑end close activities and drive process‑improvement and automation initiatives.
• Escalate critical issues, coordinate with AP processors, treasury and business teams, and ensure compliance with SOX controls.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of experience in Accounts Payable, covering invoice processing and payments.
• Exposure to global AP operations and knowledge of payment methods (wires, ACH, checks).
• Basic understanding of tax concepts such as GST, VAT and withholding.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to multitask under pressure and work collaboratively.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ServiceNow ticketing system.
• Familiarity with payment processing tools and methods.
• Experience with automation initiatives is a plus.
