Senior Platform Engineer – Infrastructure & DevOps

About the role

Join Anaqua’s platform team in Hyderabad as a Senior Platform Engineer, responsible for the core hosting, CI/CD, security and operations layer that powers all engineering teams. You will own the GCP infrastructure, Kubernetes clusters, and the automation pipelines that enable fast, reliable delivery of the new Anaqua/RightHub stack.

Key responsibilities

• Design, operate and scale GCP infrastructure including multi‑region GKE clusters, VPC networking, global load balancing, DNS, firewall rules and IAM.
• Build and maintain GitLab CI/CD pipelines and shared templates for build, scan, deploy and promotion across all environments.
• Define and enforce company‑wide standards for deployment, security, monitoring and rollback procedures.
• Manage cluster lifecycle: node‑pool upgrades, namespace/RBAC design, resource‑quota policies, rolling updates and supply‑chain security.
• Implement platform security controls such as API‑gateway policies, JWT issuance, secret rotation, OWASP and dependency scanning.
• Own observability and incident response on GCP, including structured logging, metrics, dashboards, SLIs/SLOs, alerting and on‑call runbooks.
• Develop internal developer tooling, CLIs and self‑service workflows to streamline service onboarding.

Required profile

• Proven production ownership of large‑scale workloads on Google Cloud Platform.
• Deep hands‑on experience with Kubernetes in production (GKE), Helm, and multi‑region deployments.
• Strong expertise in Terraform for infrastructure as code, including modular design and remote state management.
• Extensive experience building scalable GitLab CI/CD pipelines with security and dependency scanning stages.
• Solid understanding of cloud networking, load balancing, DNS, firewall rules and IAM best practices.
• Track record of implementing robust security practices and incident‑response processes.
