Senior Partnerships Officer – Consultant (Bhopal)

About the role

The Senior Partnerships Officer will be based in Bhopal and will lead Fortify Health’s engagement with state and local government agencies as well as not‑for‑profit partners. This consultant‑level position focuses on expanding and strengthening collaborations that support wheat‑flour fortification initiatives across key public nutrition programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and nurture relationships with state and local government departments in Madhya Pradesh.
• Identify and develop partnership opportunities with not‑for‑profit organisations.
• Support the implementation of fortification programmes within the Public Distribution System (PDS), Integrated Child Development Scheme (ICDS), and Mid‑Day Meal (MDM) schemes.
• Manage and mentor a small, growing team of partnership staff.
• Report progress and challenges to the Partnerships Manager.

Required profile

• Proven experience in building partnerships with government agencies and NGOs.
• Understanding of public health nutrition programmes such as PDS, ICDS, and MDM.
• Strong leadership and team‑management capabilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑engagement skills.
