Senior Mobile Software Engineer – Kotlin Multiplatform

About the role

Veryon is looking for a Senior Mobile Software Engineer to design and develop cross‑platform mobile applications using Kotlin Multiplatform. You will work closely with product, design and quality teams to deliver high‑performance Android and iOS apps that support the aviation industry.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement shared KMP modules (networking, domain, data, caching) and integrate them with Android (Jetpack Compose / XML) and iOS (Swift / SwiftUI / UIKit) layers.
• Write clean, efficient, testable Kotlin code following MVVM, MVI or Clean Architecture patterns.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, QA and backend engineers to translate requirements into scalable mobile solutions.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews and continuous improvement of development processes.
• Evaluate and adopt new KMP libraries, tooling and mobile technologies to enhance productivity and product quality.
• Mentor junior engineers on mobile architecture and shared‑code strategies.

Required profile

• 4‑8 years of hands‑on mobile development experience.
• Proven experience building Kotlin Multiplatform applications that share business logic across Android and iOS.
• Strong understanding of mobile architecture patterns such as MVVM, MVI and Clean Architecture.
• Experience integrating KMP modules with Android Compose/XML and iOS Swift/SwiftUI/UIKit.
• Ability to implement platform‑specific functionality using expect/actual patterns or native interop.
