Senior Mobile Engineer (Flutter)

About the role

Moniepoint is seeking a Senior Mobile Engineer to design and build highly scalable cross‑platform applications using Flutter. You will translate designs into responsive UI, integrate native Android/iOS functionalities, and ensure security and performance throughout the product lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop sophisticated, scalable mobile apps with Flutter.
• Create custom Flutter packages that leverage native Android and iOS APIs.
• Convert wireframes and Figma designs into high‑quality responsive UI code.
• Write efficient data queries and apply MVC/MVVM architectural patterns.
• Explore and implement feasible architectures for new features.
• Identify and resolve existing system issues while proposing enhancements.
• Suggest space‑ and time‑efficient data structures.
• Follow best practices, maintain thorough documentation, and use CI/CD pipelines for smooth deployments.
• Manage source code with Git and coordinate with the Project Manager on timelines.
• Ensure security guidelines are adhered to and validate cloud changes.
• Collaborate with QA specialists, fix bugs promptly, and conduct performance profiling.
• Write automated tests and uphold company quality standards.

Required profile

• 5+ years of combined mobile development experience.
• Proven expertise in building cross‑platform apps with Flutter for Android, iOS, and Web.
• Experience creating custom Flutter packages and working with native Android/iOS code.
• Hands‑on experience with Firebase services (Cloud Firestore, Push Notifications, Cloud Functions, Analytics).
• Ability to present a portfolio of independently delivered projects.
