Senior Member of Technical Staff – Cloud Networking & Security

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Member of Technical Staff to design and deliver cloud networking features that enable secure multi‑cloud deployments. You will own end‑to‑end development from concept through production for routing, NAT, VPN, traffic engineering and observability across AWS, Azure, GCP and OCI.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement cloud networking features in both control‑plane and data‑plane systems, producing design documents and driving delivery.
• Build and troubleshoot multi‑cloud topologies, including VPC/VNet segmentation, routing tables, gateways, NAT, security groups and cloud‑native connectivity.
• Develop production‑grade code in Python and/or Go, and create unit, integration and end‑to‑end tests for networking components.
• Debug complex networking issues using packet‑analysis tools, cloud diagnostics and IPSec utilities across lab, staging and production environments.
• Enhance telemetry, logging and alerting for networking and VPN services to improve reliability.
• Collaborate on architecture reviews, mentor junior engineers and document runbooks and designs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Networking or related field.
• 3+ years of professional experience building networking‑intensive systems in a cloud or networking company.
• Hands‑on experience with cloud networking (AWS VPC, Azure VNet, GCP VPC, OCI VCN) and routing protocols such as BGP or OSPF.
• Strong understanding of IP fundamentals, IPSec/VPN, NAT and firewall concepts.
• Proficiency in Python and/or Go, Linux networking tools and shell scripting.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD workflows and systematic debugging of networking problems.
