Senior Manager – Trade Surveillance

About the role

Bank of America is seeking a Senior Manager to lead its GCOR Trade Surveillance team in India. The role focuses on monitoring trading activity across fixed income and equities to detect market abuse and ensure compliance with financial regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee continuous surveillance of trading activities using automated systems such as SMARTS and Actimize.
• Collaborate with APAC regional trade surveillance teams to coordinate monitoring efforts.
• Analyze patterns, trends, and manual reviews to identify potential market manipulation.
• Ensure that compliance controls are effective and aligned with regulatory requirements.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior analysts within the surveillance team.

Required profile

• Significant experience in trade surveillance, compliance, or related financial services functions.
• Strong understanding of fixed income and equity markets.
• Proven ability to work in a globally integrated delivery model.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
