Senior Manager – Talent Acquisition

About the role

upGrad is seeking a Senior Manager – Talent Acquisition to lead its recruitment function across multiple business verticals. The role will shape hiring strategy, build high‑performing teams and partner with senior leaders to secure top talent for business, technology, corporate, sales and leadership positions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and develop a team of recruiters to achieve hiring targets.
• Design and execute end‑to‑end recruitment strategies for diverse functions.
• Collaborate with senior business leaders on workforce planning and hiring priorities.
• Drive recruiter productivity, hiring KPIs and service‑level agreements.
• Implement innovative sourcing methods using LinkedIn Recruiter, referrals, networking, market mapping and executive search.
• Build proactive talent pipelines for current and future needs.
• Provide talent intelligence, competitor mapping and workforce analytics.
• Monitor recruitment dashboards and continuously improve hiring metrics.
• Ensure excellent stakeholder and candidate experience.
• Manage recruitment agencies and vendor relationships.
• Lead employer branding, diversity hiring and process improvement initiatives.
• Maintain recruitment governance and compliance, and present insights to leadership.

Required profile

• 4–12+ years of talent acquisition experience.
• 2–5 years of experience leading recruitment teams.
• Proven stakeholder management, workforce planning and leadership hiring expertise.
• Strong analytical, communication and coaching abilities.
