Senior Manager - Risk & Safety

About the role

Lead a multi‑disciplinary delivery hub that provides Risk & Safety (R&S) studies across diverse market segments for Bureau Veritas SOA product lines. You will be accountable for the full operation of the R&S team, driving business development, operational excellence, skill development and service innovation to secure market leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a strategic business plan for R&S studies, achieving annual budgets and resource utilisation targets.
• Ensure compliance with ISO standards and implement continuous‑improvement programmes, KPI tracking and capacity planning.
• Oversee daily service delivery, guaranteeing timely execution of contractual scopes and high‑quality technical outputs.
• Collaborate with Sales and Operations to support pre‑order and post‑order activities, and lead strategic growth initiatives with key accounts.
• Maintain and expand accreditations, coordinate audit preparation and manage corrective actions.
• Drive innovation by identifying new service opportunities, leading technical research and mentoring staff on advanced tools.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Science/Engineering (Chemical, Environmental, Mechanical preferred); TÜV Functional Safety Engineer certification is a plus.
• 20+ years of experience in Risk & Safety services or HSE within oil & gas, energy, chemical, process, power, water or infrastructure sectors.
• Hands‑on expertise with DNV PHAST, Safeti, Detect 3D, PHA Pro and similar risk assessment tools.
• Proven leadership of a team of 7+ engineers for at least 5 years, with a track record of delivering complex studies.
