Senior Java Developer (Spring Boot, Maven, AWS)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Java Developer to design, develop and maintain high‑quality Java applications using Spring technologies. The role involves working closely with cross‑functional teams to deliver robust backend services and, where needed, support frontend integration.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Java‑based applications with Spring Core and Spring Boot.
• Manage project builds and dependencies using Maven.
• Write unit tests and use mocking frameworks to ensure code quality.
• Design, implement and optimise SQL databases.
• Integrate and consume REST APIs.
• Use Git and Bitbucket for version control and collaborate on code repositories.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software defects.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins and automate deployments.
• Maintain Bitbucket repositories and write shell scripts.
• Collaborate with frontend developers on HTML, CSS, JavaScript and React.js integration.
• Work with RabbitMQ for messaging and asynchronous processing.
• Leverage AWS services where applicable.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a senior‑level Java developer.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
