Senior IT Specialist

About the role

ZeroFox is looking for a Senior IT Specialist to join its corporate IT team. The role will provide day‑to‑day support for employees in the headquarters office as well as remote staff in India and other global locations, and will own the full employee lifecycle from onboarding to off‑boarding.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to in‑house and remote IT requests via walk‑in, email and ticketing system, documenting all actions in the ITSM tool.
• Support the India office and other global teams, handling incidents across time zones.
• Gather requirements, assess impact, and implement hardware, software and configuration changes.
• Develop and maintain SOPs and IT documentation.
• Procure, configure and stage laptops, peripherals and mobile devices before a new hire’s first day.
• Enroll devices with MDM solutions (Jamf, Intune, Kandji) and provision accounts through IdP platforms (Okta, Azure AD) with SSO, MFA and appropriate access rights.
• Coordinate onboarding with HR and department leads; execute off‑boarding, including account de‑provisioning and device wipe.
• Maintain an accurate inventory of hardware assets, software licences and user assignments.
• Administer MDM and IdP policies, ensure compliance and manage user lifecycle across global endpoints.
• Perform hardware installation, configuration, troubleshooting, upgrades and repairs.
• Work with the systems team to ensure timely patching of applications according to security standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of IT support experience.
• At least 1 year working with Apple laptops and mixed‑OS environments.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends.
• Ability to support distributed teams across multiple time zones.

Required skills

• MDM platforms: Jamf Pro, Microsoft Intune, Kandji.
• Identity providers: Okta, Azure Active Directory, OneLogin.
• ITSM tools: ServiceNow, Jira Service Management, Zendesk, Freshservice.
• Hardware troubleshooting for laptops, handheld devices and peripherals.
• Asset and licence management.
• Knowledge of SSO, MFA and user lifecycle management.
