Senior IT Faculty – Information Technology & Computer Science

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior IT Faculty to join our Information Technology and Computer Science department. The role involves delivering high‑quality lectures, mentoring students, and supporting academic administration in a higher‑education setting.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lectures and practical lab sessions for UG/PG programmes such as BCA, MCA, and related IT courses.
• Prepare lesson plans, assignments, question papers and assessments, ensuring curriculum relevance to emerging technologies.
• Mentor students on academic and professional development, supervise projects, internships and research activities.
• Coordinate departmental academic activities, including timetable planning, examinations, documentation and reporting.
• Support accreditation, quality initiatives, academic audits and compliance requirements.
• Guide junior faculty, contribute to admissions, workshops, industry interactions and placement activities.
• Encourage research, publications and industry collaborations, and participate in seminars and conferences.

Required profile

• 7–10 years of teaching experience in a college, university or higher‑education institution.
• Demonstrated ability to handle classroom teaching, student guidance and academic administration.
• Experience in academic leadership roles (e.g., HOD, Program Coordinator) is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong commitment to curriculum improvement, student mentorship and research promotion.
