Senior Hardware Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Hardware Engineer to lead ECU hardware development for automotive applications at our Coimbatore location. You will be responsible for translating vehicle requirements into robust hardware solutions and ensuring compliance with functional safety and EMC standards.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze requirements and define concepts for automotive ECUs.
• Design and develop modules/ECUs, including worst‑case calculations and simulations.
• Create schematics, bill of materials and coordinate PCB layout.
• Coordinate sample development with the manufacturing plant.
• Prepare test plans, conduct ECU and EMC testing, and document results.
• Maintain project documentation according to defined processes.
• Support DFMEA activities and functional safety coordination.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (B.E).
• 6–9 years of experience in hardware design for automotive ECUs.
• Strong understanding of functional safety and EMC requirements.
