Senior Fullstack Engineer (Remote)

About the role

Conqr AI is an early‑stage AI startup building privacy‑focused, document‑heavy workflow solutions for regulated enterprises. We are looking for a senior full‑stack engineer to design, develop, and scale customer‑facing products and AI‑powered services using the MERN stack.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable front‑end and back‑end applications.
• Build intuitive, high‑performance user interfaces with React.
• Create secure, reliable backend services using Node.js and Express.
• Design and optimise APIs, databases, and overall architecture.
• Collaborate with product, design, AI, and engineering teams to deliver customer‑centric solutions.
• Integrate third‑party APIs and AI capabilities into product workflows.
• Write clean, well‑tested code and contribute to code reviews.
• Monitor production systems, troubleshoot issues, and improve performance, reliability, and scalability.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of experience as a full‑stack or software engineer.
• Current experience in a product‑based company.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

• MERN stack: MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js.
• JavaScript and TypeScript.
• PostgreSQL.
• Cloud platforms: AWS, GCP or Azure.
• Docker and CI/CD pipelines.
• REST API design and backend architecture.
