About the role
Mastercard is looking for two Senior Full Stack Web Developers to design, build and operate modern, secure and scalable web applications for its global payments platform. Based in Pune, the role involves close collaboration with product, UX, QA and DevOps teams to deliver high‑performance customer‑facing and internal platforms.
Key responsibilities
- Develop end‑to‑end features using Java (Spring Boot) and/or Python (Django/DRF) on the backend and React/Next.js with TypeScript on the frontend.
- Design, implement and test well‑structured backend services, including business logic, integrations, data access layers and API endpoints.
- Build responsive, accessible UI components, applying modern state‑management patterns such as Redux and performance best practices.
- Define and consume versioned RESTful APIs with clear contracts and documentation.
- Write automated unit, integration and UI tests and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines.
- Monitor production systems, troubleshoot issues using logs, metrics and traces, and participate in on‑call rotation.
Required profile
- Proven experience as a senior full‑stack engineer building large‑scale web applications.
- Ability to work hands‑on while collaborating with cross‑functional teams.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and commitment to engineering excellence.
