Senior Full Stack Software Engineer

About the role

Pravah is building the world’s first foundation model of the electric grid, using AI to transform utility data into actionable intelligence. As a Senior Full‑Stack Software Engineer you will design, develop and scale the end‑to‑end platform that powers real‑time forecasting and grid analytics for India’s largest utilities.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement high‑performance web applications with TypeScript and React to visualise time‑series demand forecasts, weather ensembles and geospatial grid data.
• Build interactive map‑based views using Mapbox (and optionally D3.js/Deck.gl) for topology, load profiles and fault isolation.
• Develop scalable micro‑services, REST APIs and data‑ingestion pipelines in Python, Java/Kotlin or Go to serve ML models and handle billions of time‑series records.
• Integrate ML inference pipelines, manage model versioning, A/B testing and automated retraining workflows.
• Set up CI/CD pipelines, containerise services with Docker, and ensure observability, logging and alerting on Google Cloud Platform.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of experience building and deploying production‑grade full‑stack applications.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to work across time‑zones with teams in India and the US.
• Proven ability to make architectural decisions in fast‑moving, ambiguous environments.

Required skills

• TypeScript, React, Redux (or similar state‑management).
• Python, Java/Kotlin or Go for backend services.
• PostgreSQL, NoSQL stores for high‑throughput time‑series data.
• Docker, Kubernetes (or other orchestration) and CI/CD on GCP.
• Testing frameworks such as Jest, Cypress or Playwright.
