Senior Frontend Engineer

About the role

Easyship is looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to lead architectural decisions and raise engineering standards for its global shipping platform. The role is full‑time, onsite in Bengaluru and works UK collaboration hours to support cross‑regional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement enterprise‑level frontend architectures using React.js and TypeScript.
• Leverage AI‑assisted development tools (e.g., Copilot, Cursor) to accelerate prototyping and code generation.
• Establish advanced React patterns, ensure reusability and minimise technical debt.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers and backend architects to translate business goals into scalable roadmaps.
• Mentor junior and mid‑level engineers on architecture, performance and TypeScript best practices.
• Drive code quality through rigorous architectural and code reviews.
• Optimise performance and scalability, including Micro‑Frontends and emerging patterns such as Server Components.

Required profile

• 10+ years of frontend development experience building sophisticated SPAs.
• 5+ years with React.js and TypeScript at enterprise scale.
• Strong communication skills to align cross‑functional teams.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, async programming and Git workflows.
