Senior FP&A Analyst

About the role

The Senior FP&A Analyst at Showpad in Pune partners with finance leadership and the broader business to enable data‑driven decision‑making. You will own core FP&A processes, delivering insights that shape strategic and operational choices across the company.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and monitor key financial and business performance metrics such as ARR, bookings, EBITDA margin, and operating expenses.
• Perform monthly and quarterly variance analysis, explaining drivers and trends to finance leaders and business partners.
• Build and maintain dynamic financial models for revenue, headcount, and operating expenses to support budgeting, scenario planning, and forecasting.
• Manage the planning, forecasting and reporting processes, including quarterly forecasts and the annual operating plan.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data, identify inconsistencies and streamline processes.
• Identify actionable insights, present recommendations and influence business direction through clear communication.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to establish best practices and improve tools and processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field; professional qualification (CFA, CPA, MBA) is a plus.
• 3‑5 years of experience in corporate FP&A or a closely related finance function, preferably in a SaaS or technology company.
• Strong grounding in accounting principles (Ind AS, IFRS, or US GAAP).
• Organized, detail‑oriented and able to manage changing priorities and multiple assignments.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency with Google Sheets.
• Ability to build dynamic financial models and conduct sensitivity analyses.
