Senior Financial Analyst – Operations & Commercial

About the role

This hands‑on, detail‑oriented position sits within Cohere Health’s Clinical Operations and Commercial teams. The analyst provides rapid, high‑quality financial support to help drive decisions in a fast‑moving commercial environment.

Key responsibilities

• Review and build capacity models for Clinical Operations staff, aligning headcount with patient volume and cost targets.
• Update and maintain gross‑margin workbooks monthly, incorporating actuals and delivering variance commentary.
• Own headcount management reporting for Clinical Ops and Commercial, giving leadership timely staffing cost views.
• Analyze cost impact of process and product improvements and translate them into financial recommendations.
• Support budget and forecast preparation for both functions, partnering with Operations and Commercial leaders.
• Utilize Workday Adaptive Planning for planning cycles, scenario modeling and financial reporting.
• Apply AI‑powered analytics tools to automate routine tasks and accelerate insight delivery.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field; MBA or CPA/ICAI a plus.
• 3–6 years of FP&A, commercial finance or operations finance experience, preferably in healthcare or life‑sciences.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to present findings to non‑finance stakeholders.
• Highly organized, self‑directed and able to manage multiple deliverables across time zones.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel and financial modeling.
• Workday Adaptive Planning (Adaptive Insights).
• Google Suite (Sheets, Slides, Docs) and Microsoft Office.
• AI‑assisted analytics or business intelligence tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Capacity modeling, gross‑margin workbooks and headcount tracking.
