Senior Financial Analyst

About the role

The Senior Financial Analyst will join CBRE’s Accounting Team, reporting to the Accounting Manager, and will be responsible for preparing, analysing and delivering accurate financial reports for a complex portfolio of CBRE clients. The role works closely with local and US accounting teams to ensure consistent, high‑quality service.

Key responsibilities

• Provide timely and accurate analyses of accounts receivable and generate comprehensive financial packages for clients and internal teams.
• Manage the MIP billing process, credit‑note handling, order‑to‑cash cycle, and month‑end close activities, including accruals, prepaid and amortization calculations.
• Prepare and review age‑debt reports, funding and payment request audits, and MIS reports for AR and GL.
• Ensure compliance with SOX control descriptions for billing scope and maintain documentation in line with internal procedures.

Required profile

• Fluent English (written and spoken) and a degree in accounting, finance or a related field.
• 5‑8 years of accounting or finance experience, preferably in real‑estate or commercial‑real‑estate environments.
• Strong knowledge of US and EMEA accounting principles, internal controls, and financial terminology.
• Excellent analytical ability, attention to detail, and capacity to present complex results to internal and external stakeholders.

Required skills

• Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Teams.
• Accounts Receivable (AR) concepts and month‑end close processes.
• MIP billing, credit‑note processing, order‑to‑cash and accrual accounting.
• SOX control compliance, age‑debt reporting, prepaid and amortization calculations.
• Management Information Systems (MIS) reporting for AR and General Ledger.
