Senior Executive/Assistant Manager – Airfreight Pricing

About the role

PSA BDP is seeking a Senior Executive or Assistant Manager to lead airfreight pricing initiatives. The role will oversee end‑to‑end procurement, negotiate tender bids with airlines, and ensure competitive pricing solutions for our global customer base.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full procurement cycle and negotiate airfreight rates with carriers.
• Collaborate with BDP regional tender teams and airlines to develop winning tender proposals.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to deliver optimal pricing and meet nomination timelines.
• Address carrier‑related commercial and operational challenges.
• Prepare and maintain daily service reports (DSR) and performance dashboards covering volume, gross profit and overall business metrics.
• Monitor market freight trends, fuel surcharges, and competitor pricing.
• Review and renew customer rate agreements, identifying cost‑saving and margin‑enhancement opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with airline regulations and international shipping standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in freight forwarding or logistics operations.
• MBA or equivalent degree, preferably in Supply Chain or Logistics.
• Strong analytical abilities and high computer literacy.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience using transport management systems.
