Senior Executive - Quality

About the role

The Senior Executive – Quality will support the Supply Chain & Manufacturing function by ensuring that raw materials, intermediates and finished goods meet the highest quality standards. You will work closely with production, logistics and vendor teams to drive quality compliance, resolve non‑conformities and support continuous improvement across the plant.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze raw materials, blends and finished goods and report findings to the unit head.
• Inspect incoming packaging materials and communicate non‑conformities to vendors, issuing Corrective Action Requests.
• Coordinate online QC activities during line start‑up and change‑over.
• Calibrate laboratory equipment, develop calibration plans and oversee equipment maintenance.
• Investigate customer complaints, perform root‑cause analysis and propose CAPA.
• Standardise chemical reagents and ensure proper lab calibration.
• Assist the Quality Manager with MIS reporting and quality‑related projects.
• Monitor end‑of‑line defects, PPM, audit scores and liquid quality compliance.

Required profile

• Post‑graduate degree (or equivalent) in Chemistry, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Food Technology or related field.
• 3‑5 years of experience in Quality Assurance and Quality Systems within Food Processing, FMCG, Distillery, Brewery or Beverage industries.
• Hands‑on experience with quality management systems and SOP development.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
