Senior Executive Production (Pharma API)

About the role

The Senior Executive Production will lead shift production operations for API manufacturing, ensuring all activities follow the batch manufacturing record (BMR), standard operating procedures (SOP) and current GMP practices.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise shift production, batch charging and material handling.
• Maintain online manufacturing records with data‑integrity compliance.
• Operate the Distributed Control System (DCS) as supervisor and review alarms.
• Collect intermediate/in‑process samples for IPQC/QC testing.
• Enter production data into SAP and generate Finished Goods Transfer Notes.
• Monitor consumable stock, log books and label status.
• Ensure preventive maintenance of equipment as scheduled.
• Coordinate with QA, QC, stores and E&M for production activities.
• Stop production and notify superiors in case of major abnormalities.
• Handle production‑related QMS activities.

Required profile

• Experience in pharma API production within a regulated environment.
• Hands‑on experience with DCS operations, SAP entries and cGMP documentation.
• Familiarity with distillation columns and Good Manufacturing Practices.
• Diploma or degree in Engineering or Science.
