Senior Engineer – Production IT Support

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Engineer to provide Production IT Support for our Bengaluru manufacturing plant. The role ensures the stability, security and performance of the IT infrastructure that powers the production lines, while collaborating with cross‑functional teams to implement changes and maintain compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Consult and rectify IT software, hardware and security issues on the production line.
• Implement changes originating from CD04602 and maintain production IT security according to plant guidelines.
• Execute and support MES packages in production areas, including ECR and NPI releases.
• Maintain and regularly update the plant IT device inventory and documentation.
• Deliver awareness training (minimum 50 man‑hours) and raise CI tickets for critical production IT issues.
• Support TEF1, MOE‑Q and MFD1 teams in analysing MES and IT problems.
• Perform regular HDD backups, weekly reporting of IT/MES/I4.0 issues, and virus scanning as per central guidelines.
• Monitor IT infrastructure with available tools and provide support across different shifts.

Required profile

• Diploma or BE/B‑Tech in Computer Science, Electronics & Communication or equivalent.
• 2–5 years of experience in a production environment.
• ITIL‑4 Foundation certification.
• Strong communication, creative thinking and self‑driven attitude.
