Senior Engineer - Manufacturing Solutions

About the role

The Manufacturing Solutions Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing manufacturing processes to ensure efficient production and high‑quality products. This role works closely with cross‑functional teams including Engineering, Production and Quality.

Key responsibilities

• Lead development, validation, and roll‑out of manufacturing processes as per internal and customer standards.
• Drive automation initiatives from concept design to line hand‑over for routine management.
• Create and maintain work instructions, PFMEA, control plans and other process documentation.
• Conduct feasibility studies, line layout design, cycle‑time optimization and cost‑down initiatives.
• Improve factory productivity and efficiency using Lean and digital manufacturing tools.
• Manage CAPEX and OPEX budgets for process, automation and maintenance initiatives.
• Apply APQP processes and manage pre‑ and post‑acceptance documentation.
• Utilize MES processes for production monitoring.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Production or Automobile Engineering.
• 5–8 years of experience in Tier‑1 automotive, OEM automotive, elevator & escalator or equivalent industries.
• Experience with automation, assembly machines, PLC/HMI and robotics.
• Good knowledge of AutoCAD and other simulation software.
• Strong problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Familiarity with ISO, IATF16949, Six Sigma and APQP.
• Presentation skills with logical thinking.
• Certification in MTM and ergonomics study.
