Senior Engineer / Assistant Manager – Supplier Quality Management

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Engineer / Assistant Manager to lead supplier quality management for Bosch’s manufacturing network in India. The role focuses on improving supplier performance, ensuring compliance with regulatory and customer standards, and supporting product development across our PT plants worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and enhance supplier quality performance through audits, monitoring, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Develop supplier capabilities and drive process maturity across the supply base.
• Ensure safe launch of supplier‑supplied parts for new and transfer projects.
• Collaborate with product development teams to support PT plants worldwide.
• Travel extensively to supplier sites across India to perform audits and performance reviews.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Production Engineering (full‑time) or equivalent engineering background.
• 4‑5 years of experience in Supplier Quality Assurance within consumer, electrical or related industries.
• Strong knowledge of supplier quality management, audits and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Willingness to travel frequently to supplier locations.
