Senior Electrical & Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

About the role

Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories is seeking a Senior Electrical & Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to ensure safe, efficient and compliant operation of plant electrical and mechanical systems. The role focuses on preventive, predictive and shutdown maintenance while supporting automation to minimise downtime.

Key responsibilities

• Identify potential hazards during critical maintenance and manage safety permits, LOTO procedures and JSA reviews to meet SH&E standards.
• Plan, schedule and monitor predictive, preventive and shutdown maintenance activities.
• Maintain good housekeeping in utility areas and ensure critical spares are available while controlling consumption.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical breakdowns and support automation systems.
• Coordinate with vendors, manage spares inventory and lead qualification and validation of equipment and control systems.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a senior maintenance engineer handling both electrical and mechanical assets.
• Strong knowledge of safety procedures such as LOTO and JSA.
• Ability to plan and execute predictive and preventive maintenance programmes.
• Experience working with vendors and managing spares inventory.
