Senior DevOps Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and working knowledge of AWS. The role focuses on reliability, scalability, and operational excellence through infrastructure automation and cloud security.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and manage cloud infrastructure primarily on GCP and partially on AWS.
• Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
• Develop and maintain automation using Ansible and SaltStack.
• Build and support CI/CD pipelines for application and infrastructure deployments.
• Manage Kubernetes environments (GKE/EKS), including deployments, scaling, and troubleshooting.
• Write and maintain automation scripts using Python, Bash, or similar languages.
• Implement and enforce cloud security best practices (IAM, network security, compliance).
• Collaborate with application, security, and platform teams to support production workloads and resolve incidents.

Required profile

• 6–10 years of experience in cloud engineering.
• Primary focus on GCP (≈70%) and secondary on AWS (≈30%).
• Strong hands‑on experience with GCP services (Compute, IAM, Networking, GKE, Monitoring).
• Working experience with core AWS services (EC2, IAM, VPC).
• Proven expertise designing and managing IaC with Terraform.
• Terraform Associate certification (mandatory).
• Extensive experience with Ansible and SaltStack.
• Solid hands‑on experience with monitoring tools such as Datadog and Splunk.
• Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash or Shell.
• Good understanding of cloud security concepts, IAM and compliance.
• Experience supporting production environments and participating in on‑call rotations.
