Senior DevOps Engineer (GitLab CI/CD & GitOps)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer with deep expertise in GitLab CI/CD, GitOps, and automation. You will design, build, and optimise deployment pipelines, drive GitOps‑based infrastructure management, and support Release on Demand processes while ensuring high observability and reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and optimise GitLab CI/CD pipelines for build, test and deployment workflows.
• Implement and manage GitOps practices for infrastructure and application delivery.
• Maintain repository structures, version‑control strategies and deployment workflows.
• Configure pipeline orchestration, triggers and scheduling mechanisms.
• Drive Release on Demand processes to enable fast, controlled production releases.
• Securely handle configuration and deployment artefacts within CI/CD environments.
• Monitor, troubleshoot and optimise pipeline performance using Datadog dashboards and logs.
• Collaborate with development teams to embed DevOps best practices across the software delivery lifecycle.
• Support containerised application deployment and management with Docker.
• Ensure compliance with security, availability and scalability standards.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience as a DevOps Engineer implementing CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong background in GitOps‑based deployment and source‑controlled infrastructure management.
• Experience supporting Release on Demand or continuous delivery processes.
