Senior Data Scientist – GBS Commercial

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Scientist and People Manager to lead the design, development and deployment of data‑driven products that support sales and business operations. The role will shape the roadmap for machine‑learning initiatives and mentor a high‑performing team in Bangalore.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end design, development and production of predictive models and analytics solutions.
• Define and execute the data‑science roadmap, collaborating with engineering and product teams.
• Manage, mentor and develop a team of data scientists, analysts and engineers, overseeing performance and career growth.
• Partner with cross‑functional stakeholders (Sales, Marketing, IT, Operations) to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.
• Monitor application performance, identify bottlenecks and implement optimisations for scalability.
• Maintain technical documentation, data pipelines and user guides, and deliver dashboards and reports to senior leadership.
• Provide ongoing support, debugging and version control for deployed solutions, ensuring compliance with data‑governance standards.
