Senior Data Analyst

About the role

Zynga’s data science and analytics team leverages massive game data to model and predict player behavior, making games more personalized and engaging. As a Senior Data Analyst you will turn raw data into actionable insights that shape game features and drive player satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Work with large volumes of game data to identify opportunities for improving player experience.
• Deliver analytics and data‑science projects aligned with product roadmaps and core game metrics.
• Maintain source‑of‑truth data sources and dashboards to enable evidence‑based decisions.
• Collaborate with game teams to design, test, verify and implement machine‑learning models that impact millions of users.

Required profile

• BS in Computer Science, Math, Statistics, Economics or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in data science or analytics roles.
• Fluent in SQL and proficient in Python programming.
• Experience with a visualization tool such as Tableau or QlikView.
• Hands‑on experience with statistics, experimental design, machine learning or deep learning.
• Background in analyzing large datasets, preferably using Hadoop or Spark, and deploying production‑ready systems.
• Strong written and oral communication skills and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Passion for gaming and ability to collaborate with engineers, product managers and designers.
