Senior Customer Care Specialist – French (International)

About the role

Toast is looking for a Senior Customer Care Specialist who will be the hero of our French‑speaking customers’ day. You will use your deep product knowledge and technical expertise to answer questions, solve problems, and deliver extraordinary service through chat, voice, and ticketing channels.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to incoming customer chats, voice calls, and tickets with clear, concise, and professional communication.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot software and hardware issues related to Toast’s restaurant technology suite.
• Escalate and coordinate complex cases according to Toast’s procedures and values.
• Collaborate with teammates to ensure every customer receives timely support.
• Continuously expand knowledge of Toast’s hardware and software through training and professional development.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (any field) or equivalent experience.
• 2‑4 years of experience in a customer support role handling voice, chat, and ticketing systems.
• Fluent English and French (B2/C1 level) with the ability to use restaurant‑industry terminology.
• Strong written communication and typing skills.
• Ability to work in an ambiguous environment, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines.
