Senior Consultant, Offensive Security

About the role

Cyderes is seeking an experienced Senior Consultant specializing in offensive security to lead complex penetration testing engagements. You will work with a global team of experts, advising clients across multiple industries on how to identify and remediate security weaknesses.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute advanced penetration tests on internal/external networks, web and mobile applications, APIs, cloud and wireless environments.
• Develop and run red‑team and purple‑team exercises that emulate real‑world adversary tactics.
• Produce high‑quality technical reports and present findings to both technical and executive audiences.
• Lead client interactions from scoping through post‑delivery support, including presales activities.
• Mentor junior consultants and contribute to internal tool and methodology development.
• Research emerging threats, attack techniques and offensive security tools.

Required profile

• 5+ years of hands‑on penetration testing and offensive security experience.
• Proven ability to lead engagements and manage client relationships.
• Strong communication skills for presenting technical findings to diverse audiences.

Required skills

• Network, wireless, web‑application and API penetration testing.
• Active Directory and Kerberos expertise.
• Vulnerability management and assessment experience.
• Social engineering assessment experience.
• Red‑team and purple‑team exercise execution.
• Proficiency with tools such as Burp Suite, Cobalt Strike, Metasploit, Nmap and Nessus.
