Senior Cluster Manager

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Cluster Manager to lead a network of 20‑30 dark stores, ensuring flawless end‑to‑end operations from inbound receipt to last‑mile dispatch. You will be responsible for driving performance, cost efficiency, and inventory accuracy across the entire cluster.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end operations for a cluster of 20‑30 dark stores, overseeing inbound, putaway, picking, packing and dispatch.
• Maintain strict adherence to SLAs and optimise critical KPIs such as putaway TAT, receiving adherence, picking/packing efficiency, defect rates, damages, shrinkage and overall cost metrics.
• Ensure high inventory accuracy through control mechanisms, audits and loss‑prevention initiatives.
• Standardise SOPs and drive quality compliance across handling, storage and dispatch processes.
• Lead Store Managers and large ground teams, aligning manpower with throughput demands and extended‑hour store formats.
• Collaborate with Central Operations, Planning and Supply Chain to resolve escalations and remove bottlenecks.
• Continuously improve throughput, reduce shrinkage and damages, and drive cost efficiencies.
• Own operational performance reviews via dashboards, governance cadence and metric‑driven accountability.
• Support profitability goals by running high‑efficiency, cost‑conscious and scalable operations.

Required profile

• Graduation; MBA preferred (Operations/Supply Chain) or equivalent experience.
• 5‑8+ years in warehouse, dark store or fulfilment centre operations with multi‑site management exposure.
• Strong understanding of end‑to‑end warehouse processes from inbound to dispatch.
• Proven experience managing large ground teams across multiple locations.
• Hands‑on experience with dashboards, KPIs and data‑driven operational reviews.
• Ability to operate in high‑volume, high‑pressure environments with a strong execution focus.
• Process‑oriented mindset with experience enforcing SOPs and driving accountability.
• Comfortable managing cost metrics, shrinkage control and operational P&L levers.
• Data‑driven, ownership‑focused and built for scale.
