Senior Cluster Manager

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Cluster Manager to lead a network of 20‑30 dark stores, ensuring flawless end‑to‑end operations from inbound receipt to last‑mile dispatch. You will be responsible for driving operational excellence, cost efficiency, and high inventory accuracy across the entire cluster.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full operational cycle for a cluster of 20‑30 dark stores, covering inbound, putaway, picking, packing, and dispatch.
• Maintain and improve critical KPIs such as putaway TAT, receiving adherence, picking/packing efficiency, defect rates, damages, shrinkage, and overall cost metrics.
• Implement strong inventory control mechanisms, regular audits, and loss‑prevention initiatives to ensure high accuracy.
• Standardize SOPs and enforce quality compliance across handling, storage, and dispatch processes.
• Lead Store Managers and large ground teams, aligning manpower with throughput demands and extended‑hour store formats.
• Collaborate with Central Operations, Planning, and Supply Chain teams to resolve escalations and eliminate bottlenecks.
• Drive continuous improvement in throughput, shrinkage reduction, and cost efficiencies.
• Produce operational performance reviews using dashboards, governance cadence, and metric‑driven accountability.

Required profile

• Graduation; MBA preferred (Operations/Supply Chain) or equivalent experience.
• 5‑8+ years of experience in warehouse, dark store, or fulfilment centre operations with multi‑site management exposure.
• Proven ability to manage large ground teams across multiple locations.
• Hands‑on experience with dashboards, KPIs, and data‑driven operational reviews.
• Strong execution focus in high‑volume, high‑pressure environments.
• Process‑oriented mindset with experience enforcing SOPs and driving accountability.
• Comfortable managing cost metrics, shrinkage control, and operational P&L levers.
