Senior Cluster Manager

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Cluster Manager to lead a network of 20‑30 dark stores, overseeing end‑to‑end operations from inbound receipt to last‑mile dispatch. The role focuses on driving operational excellence, cost efficiency and high inventory accuracy across the cluster.

Key responsibilities

• Own full‑cycle operations for a cluster of 20‑30 dark stores, ensuring seamless execution of inbound, putaway, picking, packing and dispatch while meeting SLAs.
• Monitor and improve critical KPIs such as putaway TAT, receiving adherence, picking/packing efficiency, defect rates, damages, shrinkage and overall cost metrics.
• Maintain high inventory accuracy through robust control mechanisms, regular audits and loss‑prevention initiatives.
• Standardise SOPs and ensure quality compliance across handling, storage and dispatch processes.
• Lead Store Managers and large ground teams, aligning manpower with throughput demands and extended‑hour store formats.
• Collaborate with Central Operations, Planning and Supply Chain teams to resolve escalations and eliminate bottlene‑cks.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase throughput, reduce shrinkage and optimise cost efficiency.
• Prepare and present operational performance reviews using structured dashboards and governance cadences.

Required profile

• Graduation; MBA preferred in Operations or Supply Chain, or equivalent experience.
• 5‑8+ years of experience in warehouse, dark store or fulfilment centre operations with multi‑site management exposure.
• Proven ability to manage large ground teams across multiple locations.
• Strong execution focus in high‑volume, high‑pressure environments.
• Process‑oriented mindset with experience enforcing SOPs and driving accountability.
• Comfortable managing cost metrics, shrinkage control and operational P&L levers.
