Senior CAM Developer

About the role

Sandvik’s Intelligent Manufacturing division is seeking a Senior CAM Developer to lead complex computer‑aided manufacturing challenges. Based in Pune, you will work autonomously on algorithm design, toolpath generation, and application infrastructure within the NC division.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and own NC toolpath algorithms for roughing, semi‑finishing, super‑finish, turning, and 3‑ to 5‑axis milling.
• Lead the architecture and modernization of the NC application layer, migrating business logic to a clean, framework‑independent service layer.
• Develop GPU‑accelerated computation paths to boost high‑performance toolpath generation.
• Implement surface‑based super‑finish strategies using native geometric surface data.
• Collaborate with the CAM manager, product owners, QA, and other development teams.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in CAM software development and NC algorithm engineering.
• Ability to work independently and coordinate across multiple business units without direct supervision.
• Strong product and project management awareness.
