Senior Branch Relationship Manager – Consumer Banking

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Branch Relationship Manager for the Consumer Banking Group of DBS. The role focuses on acquiring and growing high‑net‑worth clients (AUM ≥ INR 1 million) across our branch network, delivering revenue targets and ensuring exceptional client service.

Key responsibilities

• Acquire and retain clients with AUM ≥ INR 1 million through need‑based advisory and cross‑selling of deposits, investments, insurance, mortgages, credit cards and personal loans.
• Achieve monthly and annual volume and revenue targets, driving e‑channel activation (Internet/M‑Banking, online mutual funds, debit cards) and savings book growth.
• Maintain high customer satisfaction by proactive relationship management, coordinating with service, distribution and product teams.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, AML/KYC, health & safety and regulatory requirements throughout onboarding and ongoing client engagement.
• Develop client trust through lifestyle and beyond‑banking propositions, and manage workflows such as doorstep banking.
• Collaborate with line manager, city/cluster head and internal specialists to meet branch and team objectives.

Required profile

• Proven experience in retail or consumer banking relationship management, preferably handling high‑net‑worth portfolios.
• Strong knowledge of banking products and services, including deposits, investments, insurance, mortgages and credit cards.
• Ability to meet revenue and AUM growth targets while delivering superior client service.
• Understanding of regulatory compliance, AML/KYC and risk management processes.

Required skills

• Knowledge of e‑banking channels (Internet banking, mobile banking, online mutual funds).
• Proficiency in client onboarding and due‑diligence procedures.
• Effective communication and relationship‑building capabilities.
