Senior Backend Developer – Cloud & Microservices

About the role

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Backend Developer to design, build and maintain scalable, high‑performance backend systems for our mobile and web applications. You will lead backend initiatives, work closely with frontend engineers, data scientists and product managers, and help shape our cloud‑native architecture.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain backend services using C# .NET and Python.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Optimize application performance, troubleshoot complex issues and implement security and data‑protection measures.
• Write clean, maintainable code, unit tests and participate in code reviews while mentoring junior developers.
• Manage web servers, configure services and support the transition from monolithic to microservices architecture.
• Implement and operate cloud‑native solutions on AWS (and Azure), using Infrastructure‑as‑Code tools.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, monitor and troubleshoot Kubernetes workloads, networking and resource allocation.
• Package applications as containers (Docker, Podman) and ensure consistent deployment across environments.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional backend development experience.
• Strong proficiency in either C# .NET or Python, with a willingness to learn new languages.
• Hands‑on experience with RESTful APIs, microservices, OOP concepts and both SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipeline implementation.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and container orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Proven ability to work in Agile (Scrum/Kanban) environments and collaborate in multicultural teams.
