Senior Associate – Strategic Operations & Technology (Surveillance & Public Safety)

About the role

PwC is seeking a Senior Associate to join its Advisory practice in Mumbai, focusing on strategic operations and technology for surveillance, public safety and command centre initiatives. You will work on large‑scale transformation programmes for government and private‑sector clients, driving technology‑led modernization and delivering end‑to‑end consulting solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead/assist the design and delivery of Target Operating Models (TOM), Concept of Operations (ConOps), functional workflows and governance structures for multi‑agency command and control environments.
• Drive strategy and advisory projects for surveillance modernization, emergency response, Safe City initiatives and digital transformation programmes.
• Develop technology strategy documents, including technology blueprints, architecture and integration plans for public‑safety command centres.
• Collaborate with multiple government and private‑sector clients on international engagements, ensuring end‑to‑end consulting deliverables are met.
• Provide thought leadership on technology‑led modernization in public safety, surveillance and command centre domains.

Required profile

• Proven experience in advisory or consulting roles focusing on operating model design, technology strategy or public‑safety transformation.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with a track record of managing complex, multi‑stakeholder projects.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills, able to work with senior client leaders.
• Ability to work proactively in fast‑paced, cross‑functional teams.
