Senior Associate – SAP MDG Technical Consultant

About the role

PwC is looking for a Senior Associate to join its SAP Advisory team in Kolkata. The consultant will design, build and maintain SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) solutions across material, customer, vendor and finance domains, helping clients achieve reliable master data and streamlined processes.

Key responsibilities

• Extend and enhance standard MDG data models, entities, attributes and relationships in the ABAP Data Dictionary.
• Customize user interfaces using Floorplan Manager, Web Dynpro and SAP Fiori/UI5 applications.
• Configure governance workflows and implement custom validations and derivations with Business Rule Framework plus (BRF+).
• Manage data replication and distribution via Data Replication Framework, ALE and IDocs/AIF to SAP S/4HANA, ECC or non‑SAP systems.
• Develop and execute data migration objects and scripts to load master data into target systems.
• Provide technical support, troubleshooting and performance tuning for MDG landscapes.

Required profile

• At least 4‑5 years of hands‑on experience with SAP MDG implementations.
• Strong ABAP development skills and familiarity with the SAP Data Dictionary.
• Experience delivering UI customisations with FPM, Web Dynpro and SAP Fiori/UI5.
• Proven ability to configure BRF+, workflows and data replication mechanisms.
• Good understanding of SAP S/4HANA and ECC integration points.
