Senior Associate – MERN Stack – Digital Integration (Advisory)

About the role

PwC is seeking a Senior Associate to join its Digital Integration Advisory team in Gurgaon. The role focuses on building and enhancing MERN‑stack applications that support client‑facing solutions and internal tools.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain full‑stack web applications using MongoDB, Express, React and Node.js.
• Implement RESTful APIs and ensure secure authentication/authorization with JWT.
• Optimize performance, scalability and database queries (indexes, aggregations).
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate data visualisation (Chart.js, Recharts, D3.js) and analytics tools such as Power BI.
• Participate in code reviews, version control (Git/GitHub) and adhere to quality engineering standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 4‑5 years of professional experience developing MERN‑stack solutions.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work in an advisory environment.
• Excellent communication skills in English.

Required skills

• JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, responsive design
• Git/GitHub, RESTful APIs, JWT authentication
• Data‑visualisation libraries (Chart.js, Recharts, D3.js)
• Understanding of async programming, event‑driven architecture, performance tuning
• Nice‑to‑have: TypeScript, Azure or AWS cloud services, Power BI, micro‑services architecture
