Senior Associate, Financial Planning & Analysis

About the role

The Senior Associate, Financial Planning & Analysis will support IDinsight’s financial health by analysing project and regional financial data. Working closely with client development teams, the role ensures accurate budgeting, forecasting and reporting while contributing to the modernization of the organization’s ERP system. The position reports to the Manager FPNA.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and finalise project budgets in collaboration with client development teams using the IDinsight template.
• Own the project budget template and process, continuously identifying improvements.
• Build and maintain a database of historical project costs to streamline budget preparation.
• Conduct monthly variance analysis of budget versus actuals, flagging deviations and recommending corrective actions.
• Translate approved budgets into client‑specific templates and coordinate final review with the Director – FP&A.
• Track and analyse regional financial performance, supporting reporting and decision‑making.
• Assist in the implementation and optimisation of the organization’s ERP system.
• Prepare regular financial reports for senior leadership and ensure compliance with internal policies.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align financial planning with program objectives.
