Senior Associate – Data Governance Consultant

About the role

PwC is seeking a Senior Associate to join its Data and Analytics practice. The role focuses on data governance, helping clients in the insurance sector manage, protect, and derive value from their enterprise data assets.

Key responsibilities

• Own the end‑to‑end data and reporting process for client engagements.
• Collaborate with business, technology and process teams to define, classify, propagate and trace data across systems.
• Develop and maintain data governance standards, metadata catalogs, lineage views and data dictionaries.
• Lead data quality improvement initiatives, ensuring accuracy, uniqueness, validity and completeness.
• Implement data lifecycle management practices with a focus on privacy and protection controls.

Required profile

• Strong expertise in organizational data governance and data asset management.
• Experience working in the insurance domain.
• Hands‑on knowledge of data lineage, metadata management and data transformation processes.
• Proven ability to document data definitions, quality rules and usage across business concepts.
