Senior Associate – Data Engineer (Data & Analytics)

About the role

PWC is looking for a Senior Associate to join its Data & Analytics Advisory team in Hyderabad. The role focuses on applying advanced analytics and machine‑learning techniques to help clients, particularly in the healthcare sector, turn large data sets into actionable insights.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design, development and deployment of advanced machine‑learning and statistical models to address complex healthcare challenges.
• Establish and promote best practices in modeling, experimentation and analytical rigor across projects.
• Translate real‑world business problems into scalable data‑science solutions.
• Collaborate with global stakeholders to influence product direction and business strategy.
• Mentor junior team members and raise the technical capability of the data‑science group.
• Stay current with emerging advances in machine learning and healthcare analytics.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience in data science, analytics or related fields.
• Proven ability to lead end‑to‑end analytics projects and deliver measurable outcomes.
• Strong communication skills to work with cross‑functional and global teams.
• Interest in healthcare analytics and a track record of solving business problems with data.

Required skills

• Machine Learning model development, deployment and fine‑tuning.
• Statistical modeling and hypothesis testing.
